Exactly. Glad someone in this topic is talking about the real issue here.

Apart from the feeling of disgust any right-minded fan would have in relation to people using knives to 'fight' (cowardly wankers), I do still have to question the wisdom of going to a drinker in Rome and standing there singing Spurs songs. The reputation Italian fans have surely preceded them.

The sad thing for WHUFC is that there is some kind of link between our club's fans and Lazio's, due in part to that moron Di Canio.

The lad who's badly injured in that picture is from my home-town in Essex. My cousin's a Spud - but away out in the Far East working - and probably knows him, at least by sight.

reports on Italian tv news at lunch say that two, allegedly Roma fans, have been jailed and charged of attempted murdering.
should tell something given that, traditionally, Lazio fans are fascists, while Roma's are lefties.

that's attempted murder, surely.

insane. just really depressing shit.

i'm also curious what specific device can slice open someone's melon like that...surely these fuckers were tooled up with something more than yr average pocket knife. Depressing, as i said.

Don't pub owners have a shotgun under the counter like in some Tarantino flick to open up a can of whoopass on troublemakers like this in their pubs? i mean...it's fucking not just some fisticuffs...this is nuts.

You wont believe it, but in recent years several tobacconists, favorite targets for small robbery, have been charged of murder because, robbery after robbery, they decided to get a gun off the desk.
Instead professional criminals, once painstakingly arrested by the police, often get out the mesh of our very leaking Judicial System.

You will always see my face taking a roguish smile when hearing expressions like "broken Britain": You just don't even know what a broken Country is made of. Funnily enough, as pointed out above, the same Country had been cradle of civilization... :(
