sick of these friendlies no point to them. i know aguero is a world cup qualifier.
african nations too in january every 2 years joke.
i see rooneys got his feet up.
The African cup of Nations is historically every 2 years but they are changing the sequence, (someting to do with WC!). Instead of having it this year then again in 3 years, it will be this year
and next year then every 2 years!
that makes no sense whatsoever.
Yep, surely having it next year and then every 2 years would mean it's on the same year as World Cup and Europeans EVERY year.

Recall him and stick him in an ice bath!
There's no point in Argentina playing injured players in important games just for them to collapse on the field five minutes in. Not that I'm being utterly self serving or 'ought.

If next year means January 2013, which I think it does (this year technically means January 2012 I suppose), then it would be in 2013, 2015, 2017, etc.

From the man himself
The results were good but I've got muscle fatigue and I'd rather not chance it. Here's to making it for the match on Tues. Come on Argentina

According to a local Dubai paper, Nasri is also injured and will sit out France's friendly tomorrow. Didn't sound too serious, some kind of inflammation ??

Hopefully it's one of those "Can't be arsed to play a meaningless match and risk getting a real injury" kind of injuries

Watching the USA-France game, they made it sound more serious for Nasri like on the order of a few weeks, but didn't say anything specific other than it could be bad news for Manchester City.

No reason why he should risk it in such an easy match.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

There are no easy matches for Argentina. They're dire.
1-1 at home against bottom-placed Bolivia says it all.

Reports he's got tendonitis in the knee. Apparently he suffered it at Arsenal. It can flare up. Hopefully with our big squad he can get enough rest to manage it.

still i wish he rested so he could be even more healthy for us but i guess Argie's recent 1-1 draw means they need him.
