Though initially physically not up to it, it was obvious from the positions he took up that there was a great football brain at work. As he's got up to speed he has become better and better. I think he will be the one, in a short while that brings this team together.
Sheer class.

Well,, so many silly opinions. Too small, too weak . New to the PL. .... yeah really !!

WGAF ?

really . The guy came on , did what his manager asked of him, and scored one of the finest goal I've seen for City since Nijinsky.

btw. Compliments to Blackpool, what a cracking team..

HE IS NOT KINKLADZE...HE IS DAVID SILVA...HE IS HIS OWN MAN, AN INDIVIDUAL, DESERVING OF HIS OWN PRAISE WITHOUT COMPARISON TO ANYONE ELSE.

It's not like he's going to buckle under the pressure of living up to Kinkladze is he?

I compared him to Kinky after his first game with us, nice to see others can see the similarities!

Silva (or Villa as Hansen and Kamara call him) gets me excited whenever he gets the ball, he can create something out of nothing and must be a dream to play with as he is always available to receive the ball.

Easy mate! Nothing wrong with drawing a comparison imo. He's a good player, and that goal was for me, best described with reference to Kinky. As it reminded me of him a lot.

I'm not saying he's the new 'Buster' Phillips or anything!
