Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Di Maria has played poor today.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

Well, the Argies have buggered up this one good and proper.

They would play shit for us ! Podolski and Klose have been appaling in the Bundesliga - I´m convinced the Germans save it for big tournaments every time

Boateng has been class today...absolute class! Broke stuff up on numerous oocasions when the argies tried to counter and look very good/composed on the ball!
How Zab didnt get in that argentina defence is beyond me... that right back who stood flat footed everytime Podolski ran at him was bobbins....Lawrenson was right when he went off "hes had a shocker" haha

German have been excellent. Argies great going forward, dog shite at the back. Is Heinze the best full back they can find?? Schweinsteiger has had a great game.

Honestly, all those people who weren't entertained by the rest of the world cup, the quarter finals have been BRILLIANT.

German's were as they've been all tournament, surgical. They pack the defence when needed and break as a team, sometimes getting 6 or 7 up on the attack. I didn't think they'd do anything in this WC, how wrong can you be.
Argentina were tactically naive today, or should I say Maradonna was.

In a very short time we will see "bought" players to the WC. Or maybe clubs will compete in the WC. Or maybe not. I´m painting today. The facade.

He's been fucking anonymous the first half, don't even think he's touched the ball.

To be fair, Germany beat us 4-1, they did NOT beat Argentina 4-1, so he has kept his word.
