One team on the up and one on the down..Got to be City winning that title way before Liverpool.

I have voted City as i think as clubs we are going in opposite directions we are going up and Scouse are on their way down the pecking order.

Graham is right on the money, literally, here. We are definitely on the right track whereas Liverpool are sinking with squad and manager they have got.

I too however think that Liverpool will be taken over at some stage and depending on by whom they might be serious centenders again.

Like I said before, I've seen Liverpool's downfall for a long time now and honestly I'm surprised it took them this long to being out of the Champion's league contention. Which I think they are.

If our owners keep backing us I can't see how pool would ever get there before us. Even without champions league I think they will still be able to pull a couple of good players at least for a couple of seasons and after that players will lose faith in them just based on their history really. Its like the lure of AC Milan really and the whole Ronadinho bid we offered a shit load more money and both us and AC were in Europa (neither in CL) and he went there because of history from a side that were in the CL. Just proves you don't need CL to pull players as history does get you a little merit..
