I'm sure you will all remember that I said after the way Skrtl 'did a number' on him we may as well ship him off to Celtic, a la Samaras, as his bottle had gone.
To be fair to Hughes, he never wanted him; he was 'encouraged' to give his imprimatur to the signing, which was pretty much a done deal when Hughes arrived.

Pretty much somes up Shinawatra's City reign, it was all down hill after Sven was savagely dismissed, fucking hell people moan about Hughes! Sven got treated like a piece of shit after taking us from a side they stayed up by just 4 or 5 points to a top 10 side in the UEFA Cup with just £40m (£40MILLION)
Now that is how not to treat a manager.

Sven should never of had to be compensated, he should of been aloud to finish what he started imo.
But what's done is done and it's on and upwards with Roberto.

I think if Moyes cannot get anything out of a player then there's not much to get out him. Moyes record of getting the best of of players is impressive and the fact Jo failed so miserably at Everton makes me think Jo's future is numbered.

I've stayed out of Adebayor arguments as I mostly disagree with the vultures but this is just too much.
Adebayor is goal getter. Sometimes they go through barren spells and it seems like they contribute fuck all but these players know where the onion bag is when chance comes their way and that's why they are valuable. He is not world class striker but definitely very very good Premiership class.
Jo on the other hand is bag of wank. He actually does have the talent, I know this seeing him in Russia, but has lost all confidence and makes fucking Samaras look like Duncan Ferguson.
Fucking ridiculous comparison. Get a grip.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I agree completely with this. Adebuyor (could everyone please call our star striker by his real name and leave the rags insult our club if you don't mind?) is in that top bracket of strikers in the best league in the world. He has a one in two strike rate in the premier league and anyone who calls him a "bad buy" needs their fucking head checked.
He has had a slightly barren run - don't forget a certain goal that essentially changed the game against Chelsea - but it has to be noted that following a poor game by him, he has missed the next game through injury which tells me he may not have been 100% for the last while.
Hopefully he'll come back stronger and get back on the goal trail soon. I have every confidence he will.

Sven couldn't give a shit. That was shown in the second half of the season under him!

I think Adebayor's been alright, as good as most srikers. They all miss chances & have ineffective days here & there. Having said that though RSC was a level above Ade's typical performance when he played v Sunderland. If the fucker can actually stay fit for a few games then Ade may find it tough to get back in after the African trip. Good problem to have.
Jo on the other hand is a twat. I know he's got talent but that just makes it worse to watch him ponce around. Everything about him winds me up, especially that little clappy thing he does after someone gives him a good pass & he chucks himself on the floor or trips over his own fucking feet. Horrible waste of time & money.

I think we're all forgetting the excellent performances Ade put in before the ban - he is that good and will get back to that sort of form very soon and we'll all be in love again - fickle bunch that we are

Sorry Moyes you signed on the line, you're stuck with him for the season.
Mancini may make most players better, but for some there's no hope!

Quite, without his performances in the first 4 games what would the table look like now?

why should we do Everton and in particular MOYES a favour after the way that they lambasted city in the summer. We are scum apparently and they want nothing to do with us etc etc. You had him for 6 months and they signed for another 12 months, its your own fault Gollum you prick

Exactly. A deal is a deal. Why should we pay at least 60k a week for someone to sit on our bench when we can get them to do it for us. Especially after we paid 10m too much for Lescott

Agreed - as long as they're footing his wages, let him stay there and be a drain on there already meagre funds, hopefully it will mean they don't have the finances to buy anyone in the transfer window and the fuckers will get relegated!
