looks like SWP is out, but even if he was in, there is no way hughes will go to WHL without playing to defensive midfielders.

Richards---Toure---Lescott-----Sylvinio

------De Jong----------------Barry--------

That is a top lineup that.

I'd not play Barry and have Petrov but I think we would all agree on the personnel for tonight pretty much.....just how we go about the task tonight that is key

This is the one for me, Keep Lennon busy defending or if he forgets to defend then we've overloaded thier right wing and petrov should get some good balls in for Ade to feed off.

Swap bridge for Barry on the bench though.

thats exactly what will happen to us as petrov cannot defend, therefore, sylvinho will be raped

Spot on. Remember we are away from home and we are more of a counter attacking team so Spuds will have more possession therefore Lennon will have more time to rape Sylvinho

How on earth did Bridge get in these benches somewhere? He's just done his ligments innit. Quite right playing Petrov is just like writing a suicide note at Spuds.

Robinho may do a bit better, but I fancy it may be:

Given
Richards Toure Lescott Sly
Ireland De Jong Kompany Barry
Tevez
Adebayor

Safety first chaps, safety first! It's the Les way.

i would like to see ireland and barry play as wide as possible to block off lennon and modric/kranjkar bombing forward. we need to attack through the middle so play tevez and robbie closer together and closer to ade

Agree completely on the personnel, I'd prefer Stevie further up the field between Tevez and Robson but You could be on to something there
