I actually think the quality of his football is similar, just the players around him have changed. During his first stint he was by far one of the better players we had so he would lift the crowd when he got the ball. Now not only he can produce a bit of magic, but Bellamy, Petrov, Robinho, Ireland, Adebayor can all do something spectacular.

We are comparing him to players who are better quality than the first time he was here so he obviously looks worse, he's not worse he is still class. We just have others who are also class.

Spot on with what you said there.
Cant see why people have lost faith in him.
I think he has been playing well this year.
