Seems similar according to the Balague take although Sherwood was sacked for badmouthing Levy as I recall

Sherwood did a podcast recently and discussed his time at Villa where he said he told the owner before the season was about to start that the team he had would be fighting relegation. He wasn’t there too much longer after that so possibly his time at Villa

Apparently it was agreed a few weeks ago and Lopetegui agreed to stay on and oversee pre season until a new man was sourced. Which looks like O’Neill

And there isn’t any money for any transfers at all, even frees according to one report I read. Be a miracle if they survive
