Are you that pissed up 24/7 you're getting me confused with another poster?

I hope the Mrs didn't get too many punches when Everton went 3-1 up.

That was a real sickener last night. It's not over but still feel deflated. 3 or 4 players need to be shipped out and 2 or 3 incoming who have a bit of bite. This laid back attitude is gnawing at me.

I agree, but can someone help me understand when we are on top possession wise we never seem to threaten, but when we went behind we started attacking with purpose & actually had shots on goal, is this the manager or the players? I would welcome opinions.

This is what I'm alluding to. It's baffling. We can play high tempo attacking dangerous football when we want but 95% of the time are playing nicely nicely for want of a better word. It's the players and manager. This holistic fairplay peace and harmony attitude is creeping in to our culture and fabric. We can't win ugly. We are arguably the softest team in the league.

If Sean Dyche had our squad for a full season with a bit of head wobbling and throat squeezing we'd finish top 2. We need to toughen up big time.

Henry got it spot on when he said about the pass to Haaland for his goal.
He said something like "They could play that pass all game, but instead just keep passing sideways."

Exactly. Just last game we played Haaland in and he scored after 5 mins. Then we proceeded to never play him in for the rest of the game vs Burnley's slow & weak CBs. And even if he doesn't score, still better than watching our wingers lose possession or kick the ball into the 1st man because we still have most of our team back to defend the counter.

Mind boggling why we make the game more complicated when a simple option for a goal is usually there.

I would be shocked if we win it, never really was convinced we would. Arsenal will beat West ham and then its over.
Too many changes to the squad (but it had to be done) and too many players who have not been in a tight title race before. We lack experience, looked nervous and too cautious. Plus Rodri out is a huge blow.
However I believe this group will learn a lot from this season and we will be in a far team next season.

If we win two cups and finish second while rebuilding, for me that is far from a bad season.

Would be light years more than what I thought we were going to do in Jan but still very disappointing based on recent results. Quite a strange season all around.

I still have a feeling we'll knick it. Arsenal nerves will kick into overdrive. I think we were pacing ourselves for upcoming games and it backfired.

That one point might make the difference, who knows, shame its not our hands anymore.

I suppose its the hope that kills you.

Yes I forgot that when I called out Kova last night. Was a fantastic assist.

But excellent passing aside he doesn't have the legs to play in midfield at our level anymore. Easily outpaced and out muscled in the build up to one of the the goals.

It is not over yet. Whilst the Arse , like City dominate games, they still allow other teams in and West Ham really have to turn up. We saw Spuds do it on Sunday, so can the irons. City must never give up until it is mathematically impossible.

One thing really stands out for me from yesterday was just how fucking slow is Guehi ???

He was running flies he has lead in his boots - he was overtaken so easily when he was 5 yards in front at the half way line - must be the slowest player in our whole squad.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

VAR refs see the game as we , the TV fans see and have thousands of cameras.

The linesman flags offside . However TV commentators and VAR refs are crapping on about second phase.

If flagged for offside and the guy actually is offside when the ball is played , there can be no second, third or nth phase .

This VAR decision was deliberate.

I'm not so sure I agree with this. He was in an offside position when the forward pass was played but he wasn't interfering etc and when Guehi passed it to him he couldn't be offside.

Semenyo racially abused by an Everton fan. That's Liverpool and Everton he's been racially abused at.

If Arsenal go through tonight, which looks very likely, I think they will sail past West Ham. If they are eliminated from the CL tonight, I think they will be crapping it. The the PL is all of a sudden the only title they have chance on winning. That's some serious pressure after dreaming of the quadruple.

You're spot on.

He was offside when the ball was played, Guehi, then played the ball putting him onside. Being in an offside position isn't an offense, becoming involved in active play when in an offside position is.

He didn't become involved in active play until Guehi played the ball putting him back onside.

It's always been so, from long before they invented "phases of play"

Agree Nools

That win last night will have been a massive boost for everyone involved at Arsenal
They will destroy West Ham

I don't think they will.
We had a massive boost after beating Arsenal then struggled big style at Burnley.
West Ham have to go for it. If they lose then Spurs beat Leeds they're practically down, their home record has been pretty good this year and the fans will be well up for it. I can see a draw but praying for even better.
