Highlights of the game against Forest where Rodri was sent off for his alleged "use of the head" with Gibbs-White. And guess who the ref was who couldn't wait to brandish the red card????

It was crazy that Haaland got booked at all for the incident and Gabriel wasn't sent off. Some things are up for interpretation, putting your head towards someone and connecting isn't. No doubt Haaland helped him by not collapsing to the floor but he still had to go. He'd then have missed the next 3 league games. Erling never stopped fighting for everything all game and yet again got the goal when it mattered.
Unbelievable atmosphere in the stadium yesterday, everyone played their part. What a tackle by MOTM Bernie late on when they broke, Donna reacted superbly to his mistake with the one on one save and the throw for the 2nd goal. 2 fantastic goals, Khus/ Guehi partnership is superb. Cherki and Nico brilliant and hoping Rodri is ok as he is getting better every game. 8 more wins to the treble.

A fantastic win. Taylor was diabolical. VAR not doing it's job. Once again we had to win the hard way. Several players in that arse team are absolute scumbags. Haaland and Peps yellows should be recinded but I won't hold my breath. The blatant corruption would make your blood boil.

This is exactly why players exaggerate fouls — if you stay on your feet and act decently, you get fuckall from the bent officials.

If that was me, I'd roll on the ground from one end of the pitch to the fucking other end and get him sent off.

It stinks

Back four has really settled now. Khus is fucking excellent! - I honestly think he’ll turn out to be one of, if not the best defender, we have ever had at City. Mark my words.
Dias better not get near the starting 11 from now until the end of the season - he can stay where he is.

Very happy to see Pep settle on his starting eleven. If Jeremy calms down abit and is more considered with his final ball, we would be cruising.
Toe to toe in the second half when they had to come out and throw caution to the wind and actually play football and we were not found wanting. A great win, some standout performances but plenty of points left to play for so we know there are plenty of twists to come.

We could rest Rodri if he's got a knock for Burnley and Saints and let Nico G cover without too much drop off.

Bernardo might need a rest considering the ground he covers so maybe put Ait Nouri LB and Nico into midfield for either Burnley or Saints.

Maybe get Foden in for Doku or Semenyo for one of the games too, but only if the sports science geeks think they need a rest.

But don't tinker too much. After this midweek game we're on one game a week for the rest of the season so needs to play the same team as much as possible barring injury now.

What a mad game, they don't make it easy on the old heart.

Shouted and sang myself hoarse, completely missed their goal as still celebrating Cherki's

Ref was diabolical, didn't believe the Gabriel headbutt thing, so blatant.

Hope we get a treble and they get F all.

No more than they deserve.

This is an issue.
We cannot afford to change the team much, especially in league games.
Yesterday i felt the substitutions weakened us, really hope Rodri is OK.

I wouldn't be resting any in the league. Against Southampton bring in the likes of Marmoush, but in the league I don't want to see players like Savio playing. The decision to bring him on yesterday was bizarre

…..and where was he covering the left wing when the cross came in for the Havertz header at the death, he’s fucking useless. Brilliant performance overall though, did what we have to do and win.

I couldn't understand the decision to bring him on. Offers absolutely nothing! No cover for the fullback, no attacking presence, loses the ball.

I said some time ago we have the makings of something really special here, I just hope the genius doesn’t mend what isn’t broken. However the obsession he has with “minutes” worries me a great deal.

If you watch the goal from Haarland, in the build up Gabriel is pushing and pulling him all over the place.Good that he is so strong to hold him off

Got the highlights off my citizenship mail. Just look at the incident Zuri mentioned, add the head clash & other incidents he was extremely fortunate not to get a red card.

If West Ham get a point tonight Burnley will have to come out and play against us or they're down. Lovely.

There's some unbelievable comments on the BBC HYS from deluded gooner fans that Haaland's goal should have been lookad at by VAR and disallowed cos he was pulling Gabriel's shirt...this one is a fine example:
"Like Haaland pulling Gabriel’s shirt when he scored?"
He was put right by a Boro fan who pointed out Haaland was trying to escape Gabriel's initial shirt-grabbing.
