I do think there is something in this but in Laporte's defence, he didn't have a lot of help around him. Both the Spurs game and Lyon fiasco spring to mind. Dias looks like all he wants ti do is defend and he looks the bollocks so its Dias and one but we now have options and cover and we have yet to see Ake so itslooking promising

I like Laporte but he is a sheep and has never succeeded Vinny in being the leader. Ruby looks like he has been here years. For me that confirms Laporte lacks the tools. I would say Spurs away he got rinsed and rightly dropped.

To be fair to Laporte, he’s literally been coming back from COVID and then injury. He’s not had a proper run and has been in and out. I think it’s okay for him to be rusty. He pisses all over Stones.

For those who thought Mendy played well yesterday ( when he plays better than SHITE we seem to think he played well) he didnt.

Here are the stats to prove it.

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Doesn't matter what you think, our chief operations or whatever job title it is, thinks he's world class, that'll do
