Jamie jackson reporting again deal is close. Around 48mil.

I never listen to a single word (good or bad) that this agenda driven joker of a rag has to say

I hear you on how he has written about us. To be fair though, I do understand him to be Nottingham Forrest supporter, and he did rate us 2nd to Chelsea this season, called Sterling the signing of the summer, and predicted Aguero to be player of the year.

On The Guardian's Football Weekly Podcast this week the reaction of our fans to being ranked 4th as most "outraged" was raised by Barry Glendenning (who I believe is a Sunderland fan), and then somewhat snidely referred to City fans' comments about Jackson as having "leanings" towards ManU, and then followed that by calling Jackson a fan of Forrest (implying we are paranoid or ill informed, clearly) .

https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/foo ... 38253&mt=2

Happens at about 14:11 into it.

I'm not trying to be crass, and I am not claiming he is correct, but is their a reason to believe Glendenning would lie?

Could also be Jackson has issues, like so many other in the media, with our club since the ownership change.

What do I know? Just askin...

It's not rocket surgery.

Pro-scum, pro-candlepool and in recent times, pro-chavs generates traffic and more importantly, return traffic. If he has personal feelings against us it might well be because his storied Forest aren't the ones wading through piles of oil money to reach our lofty perch.

However this agenda they have is nothing more than pandering to the audience they currently have by angling stories, burying stories within a larger non-story and outright lying. When they are asked for predictions it's a perfect time to give the happy clickers a nice reacharound and having one or two choose the less fashionable Manchester City lends the whole thing an air of credibility. Also Louise Taylor, if she didn't bring enough for the whole office to smoke, she shouldn't bring any at all.

liking Forest or not, he's written several books on the rags, and anyone who has followed his articles for more than a week know that he fucking hates City and loves the scum. Look on the jamie jackson thread on here for tons of the shit he puts out against us

What's the latest we have to sign him my for him to be eligible to play on Saturday?

Also, what if Gary Neville is browsing this forum, say killing time on the train from Bury to Rammy and he spots this thread. What do you think he'd make of our opinions on KDB?

It always used to be 5pm on the Friday before. Assume that's still the case.

Neville will be secretly shitting himself at our attacking prowess

Cheers for the responses and information.

I have observed his slant against us over the past few years, yes, as I read The Guardian's football pages regularly. Was just asking about whether he is an actual supporter of manu or just another journalist who often tends to have an issue with us for the obvious reasons.

must be letting Gotze leave then.

can't see KDB (or any other midfielder for that matter) wanting to go to Bayern right now.. they have something like 11 midfielders there. Robben, Ribery, Muller, Alonso, Vidal, Costa, Martinez, Thiago, Lahm (if he plays there), Gotze, Gaudino.
