Nice to know the club and players are aware of this bias bullshit.

Yep heard it loud and clear , nice one Vinny ! It is now obvious the club are using this for inspiration and motivation ;-)

Zuricity, I guess that Carragher was so driven to distraction by City's exceptional performance, that his grammar took a road trip!

So, Carragher thinks that Yaya is one of the finest players in the league! Carragher's endorsement is part of the long and winding road, of steering journalists to review City more fairly...[/quote]

Actually, the only reason i picked up on this statement is because he was quoted from a conversation somewhere. Now, he may well be xxxx ( place any phrase or description there ), but you would think that the tosser that transcribed it would correct it ( unless he/she can't stand Carragher ).

It's not good enough i tell you !

Edit : I can't imagine that Carragher can prepare his own press releases, etc.

Zuricity, there were many journalists & pundits that changed their title predictions, after having previously written City off, before the debut match.

Just to clarify that Jamie Carragher completely changed his PL title predictions, after watching City defeat West Brom. Jamie Carragher made these statements, while he hosted Sky's Monday Night Football on TV, which aired after the City match. I had originally posted the link to the Daily Mail's coverage of the TV show, since Sky TV clips are region blocked.
Here's a clip from the show, which I hope is viewable:

Here are some more Premier League title predictions, from before City's debut match against West Brom.
...Of course, it was wonderful to see how many of these journalists changed their minds, after watching all the opening matches!

It's not just the journalists who overlook and purposely dismiss City though... Players like Aguero, Silva & Yaya are often completely overlooked for individual awards, like this UEFA prize. So, Alexis and Boateng were on the shortlist, but NOT Aguero and Silva?!

On the BBC match report it says rags are top of the league for the first time since August 2013. When they beat Swansea(?) in the early kick off in the first game. Doubt we would be afforded that accolade. We were never in the hunt for the title last year as Chelsea ran away with it apparently, despite having identical records on New Years Day

I'd be surprised to be honest. They have just given LVG over £250m to buy players that aren't the type of players Mourinho would buy. The Glazers aren't bothered so much as winning, as taking money out of the club for their own means. As long as the fans lap it up they are on safe ground. And at present the muppets who frequent the swamp seem happy with LVG, so no change is necessary

I'm not so sure, the ones I know seem extremely unimpressed and I noticed a few mails into f365 recently which have been very critical. They've papered over the cracks with those two wins, a short run of poor results and they will be on his case as they quite rightly feel that with the level of investment in the squad, they should be challenging.
