Despite his goal and assist, he still looked like the same old George to me. Constantly attempting to run at defenders without any pace, shanking crosses to the goalie or behind and shirking opportunities to throw his head at the ball in front of goal. Funny that I was still willing him on, even though I wanted Shakhter to get through!

At least the Spuds weren't in the draw. Not too sure about next season though, they've been well backed with the Bale sale and if AVB pulls them together, they should be a real threat.
