Gerrard retires buries City Q CL Knockout, He retired 2 years ago, the MLS pension fund has paid him out. As for BT, every blue who has it and I include me should choose a day to cancel. Piss take of a coverage is an understatement,

We qualified with a game to spare and though it wasn't our most fluid or best performance, we were in control of the game for the most part. Had that been the rags then it would have read "Super Red Devils ease through to knockout phase with comfortable away master class"

According to the Telegraph ratings, BMG were the better players.

You could watch the match, turn off the BT Commentary and tune in the BBC radio commentary which is markedly better.

Traditional analogue radio is your friend although DAB is only a fraction behind.

If it were up to me WW, I wouldn't mind seeing Fernandhino given a good run in the centre-back position, alongside Stones, just to see if we could get a more settled and proficient/consistent defence. Stones might benefit from his presence there.

If that happened, it might be time for Garcia to step up and fill Fernandhino's midfield position.

Moving into the back line might extend the Brazilian's remaining career further as well.

Stones, Otter and Kolarov also in contention for CB spot. I do think Pep is right tho to look at Fern 1. I just wonder who would be next to him. Kolarov may be the best option. The CB situation has been our weak spot for some time. The otter and stones are not physically strong enough as a partnership.

I just think putting Fern 1 at centre back will leave is short in midfield

Hargreaves had Fern 1 marked for left wing back before KO the other night, silly twat. Also whilst it was obvious to all of us that we would start with 3 once the line-up was announced, no one in the great brains trust of BT could see it coming until KO.

Just watching Soccer Saturday. Le Tissier has just gained a huge amount of respect from me for two reasons.

Took the piss out of big nose for Liverpool buying all of Southampton'a players but still finishing lower than them.

Then took Jeff to town on the Valencia pen decision last week against Arsenal.
