Yeah, I looked for the results or fixtures for the rags, dippers and chavs and there must have been a miss print as I could only see the rags on Thursday at 6.05!!!

Notice the rags have tried to bury the details of Mourinho's misconduct charge.

I only have a good drink on match days believe it or not . We have a proper day out weekend home fixtures where I meet up with my City pals plus my lad who is now 21 and my brother . Bigger drinkers than me amongst that lot , proper die hard bunch .

Paul Walsh....it was a good performance last night from City sgainst a second string Barcelona. I expect that from outsiders, but not from an ex Blue. He's now on the shit list.

He's hated us for a while mate. Such a shame as I've said previously he was my first favourite City player as a kid.

Oh and "up against a back four of Digne, Roberto, Mascherano and Umtiti..."
Roberto is now considered their first choice right back and Mascherano plays every week. Umtiti and Digne were summer signings.
Not sure I heard them pitying us when Mangala played instead of Kompany last season, just derision on how much he cost.

I can't understand why. When Walsh was at City he was a fans' favourite. His partnership with Quinn was much celebrated (don't get me started on Quinn). I just can't get my head around the need for ex popular players to stab us in the back.

There was no mention of Kompsny, Bravo and Sagna missing last night.

Kompany wasn't exactly 'missing' but it's still a valid point.

No, but the 45 minutes he managed last week showed he's not ready to start a high intensity match. I get the feeling Walsh would have made that point had it been the other way round. There's nothing balanced about the media.

Walshy successful partnership was alongside rosler , remember away cup win at Newcastle when we where a division below them.

At least Uwe has never, to my knowledge at least, slagged us off.

Loved the guy when he played for us and I always wondered if he would be our manager at some time in the future. Obviously, it's highly unlikely nowadays, but it would be devastating if, for some untold reason, he started to toe the media line and put the boot into us for no good reason.

There's Uwe, Dunnie, Tricky Trev that are ex-City and don't bow down to the pressure of the media and still give City a decent backing.

It is very interesting what has happened to Paul Walsh and Andy Hinchcliffe.
