Did Arsenal just win the Champions League? They are going mental. The stats don’t lie winning the Charity Shield is not a good omen!

I thought that statement was a bit embarrassing but Arsenal, who have won fuck all for years, and are lucky to actually be here, shouldn’t be slated for winning a friendly. They would have factored this game in to their schedule, like Dippers did last season, and were only in it because of a change of rules that allowed them to score in Fergie time.

Couldn't done much different there. The ball was first deflected via Alvarez onto Kanji, he didn't have a second to react. If anything Alvarez should've closed Trossard down better.

He nearly cost us UCL final. Just an average player playing in a great side. I don't get all this loving for him. Saka had a field day

Fucking hell, they’ve been working hard on penalty shoot-outs. I think we must’ve spent a minute picking the takers.

He mentioned no side won the league after winning the charity shield since 2011 when we're winning. He's just jinxed them the melt

This 100%

Watching them celebrate was cringe.

I suppose it is our fault the others have to celebrate Charity Shield and Carabao Ciup wins. like they mean something.

Going to be interesting watching these Bent referees implementing the new rules at their own discretion.Just like they did with VAR.

I can see it now Every Rag/Bindipper/Arse game given 8 - 15 minutes injury time if they are losing 1-0.

A ruthless approach to time wasting added 8 minutes. Then there was a 5 minute delay owing to the clash of heads between Walker and Partey.

Me neither, I think he is a massive liability. Instanbul was a big indicator.

Liverpool did the same OTT celebration last season...slightly embarrassing. Arsenal were two games ahead of us in terms of preseason, and yet they needed comedy luck and penalties. Last season, City were horribly under-cooked against Liverpool and yet were about to win the game before the VAR team decided to determine the outcome, incredibly.

I thought Stones and Rodri were magnificent. I do not rate the goalkeeper at all and Akanji remains my main concern in an otherwise great side. He would be exposed horribly in a lesser side.

He’s either steady and solid or a total fuck up. Said it before the match. There’s no consistency with him.

Just noticed Sunderland is 13 minutes added on. Is this normal now? Are we turning into the NFL ffs?!
