As we see teams drop out of the WC we'll see more and more transfer activity. Been fairly dead so far.

In excess of 30 mil for Luck Shaw, who is 18 years old! They must have money to burn. Not worth 30 mil and never will be.

They must be feckin' loaded!

SSN reporting Llalana having medical at the Dippers. All Rags and Dippers in the media, they must be loving it and I can see them both getting many decisions go for them next season. It's an editorial dream if they can go toe-to-toe and the PL will ensure there's a good chance of it happening.

Who's going to drop away though? Chelsea are stronger, we're on our way and the likes of Wenger won't want to give up his 4th place trophy.

Shaw to Rags, Llalana to the Dippers, does anybody think that there'll be a vote to change the PL rules which will include a similar proposition to what Dyke has put across?

Two of the main protagonists hoovering up the best English players for huge fees, seems a little suspect to me.

Nice to see that the dippers and the rags are true to their form of the last 40 years. A club (Southampton) looks like doing well so they come in and pick off their best players. That said, £30+ million for a full-back with barely 10 good games to his name is fucking hilarious.

What, that transfer fees for British players are exempt from FFP regulations?
Might work for the domestic FFP, but surely not for Twatini's version of it.

As we've seen with the Dippers, UEFA will not look at their accounts if they weren't in the competition the season before. Meaning that the Rags books won't be looked at if they get back in it next season (if they make it back in it).

A barmy rule which I'm sure will be changed if the Rags make it and we don't. What's the point of having FFP if it doesn't apply to everybody in that competition? Very selective.

Well, that's all my debates sorted. Dippers bought themselves back from 7th and now the Rags are trying to do it once more.

27 mil for Fellaini, 37 for Mata, 30 for Herrera and now 32 mil for Shaw. Now that is some spending right there.

Looking good for banter this is.

They are welcome to Llalana. Average at best. Too slow and not strong enough.

Enjoying watching the rags and dippers spunking cash they have borrowed in trying to catch up with us. Makes it even more sweet in the knowledge it won't work

As I can't find a City Transfer Thread I'll stick it in here.

Looks like Everton are to announce the signing of Gareth Barry for the grand old sum of £2.5 million. Good deal for both of us and we get some money back for him.
