Platini can fuck off.
Still, i think we gonna appeal that.
Twobob wrote:Fuck them - play only kids and keep our main squad for domestic games, devalue the competition. TV companies will be crying when we don't play any of the big names, have to hit them where it hurts!
Sell tickets to fans dirt cheep but refuse to sell any CL related merchandise (or make it very difficult to buy)
Throwing the game by not turning up would prob mean we get banned from the comp - shame as it would be the best insult to the bent fuckers
PeterParker wrote: This is actually a good idea, they deserve that, but if we do that, they will ban us from Europe and that means players will lose their interest in coming here or fighting for the title. I think this might be the biggest ban in the history of this sport. How the fuck can you ban someone for bringing money in the system? Making the game more interesting and such?

They are getting €200m a year from QTA for what, they dont sponsor the stadium or the shirt, and it was backdated a year to make it even more corrupt.
I believe we were willing to take some slap on the wrist and some form of punishment, maybe a smaller fine but this is too much and could spell big trouble for us.

Nail the cunts.
blues-clues wrote:And how does a £50m fine help us meet financial fair play? Presumably that figure has to go into the accounts? Seems about as sensible as fining a burglar or a company director whose business has gone bust. Fining City just because we can afford to pay is immoral as is the whole concept of FFP in the way it is being applied. Time to make a stand

agreed. this is fucking monumental in terms of our history. If we play along with any of this charade then we're mugs, and i don't believe we are...so.
How could ANYONE look at what we've done and say that we're creating a problem for European football? it's insanity and their intentions are so obvious and transparent that i cannot believe it's within any court's sensibility to allow this to happen. It would be the biggest travesty in any league in the history of sports to say that you cannot invest and manage a club, debt-free, and built to win, and grow an economic model, and a community which is going to be one of the best in world football.
That Platini and co. would be out of step with that vision tells the tale of who they are, where their motivations lie, and how corrupt football actually is at its core.
I'll believe it when i see it, but...right now i think it's something to unsettle our players in the last run in to see if they can get some players heads around something else other than 2 wins.
cheers
