well that's something that is going to improve with Milner. He is trigger happy and has a great shot. It's one part of his game that I've admired for a while. He doesn't just hammer them in eyes closed but makes great low or waist high drives to corner of the goal.

Ireland was better at getting into scoring positions though & if he did shoot like Milner, I don't think we would have let him go. It's a shame he, & City's coaches, allowed so many areas of his game (which could easily have been improved) just slide along when he was young enough to learn. If he'd been trained as a rag, he'd be able to shoot from distance, cross & take free kicks.
