Shockingly bad management today. No excuses if we fail to get into the top five after that. It's all down to Pep's selection and tactics. Really disappointing to see such unnecessary experimentation in a crucial game - not for the first time either. He cost us a CL trophy doing exactly this.

Experimentation ??? Seriously ??? Start eleven of Ed, josko, Ruben, Manu , Ricko, Kdb, Bernie, Kova, Phil , Erling plus McAtee . All except McAtee a major part of the squad that has been brilliant in the last few seasons. Experimantation, ? i don't think so. Kinky earlier sums it up quite well.

At one point in the second half i was seriously wondering if KDB was taking the piss. He was awful today and should have been pulled at half time, if not perhaps on the bench from the start. He had a streak of seven misplaces passes , not under stress , until a poor corner that Akanji coudn't properly get to and continued to give the ball away after that.

Again Kinky sums it up quite well. As i wrote earlier, KdB should be on the bench next week after that performance. Nothing to do with loyalty or anything, he was poor and has been for some time. He knows it too. Which is more disturbing.

Eh? You heard the one about not changing a winning side? No width or pace with Nunes & O'Reilly sat on the bench alongside our best player, who hit the bar after coming on with five minutes left. Back to the tactics of Haaland goal hanging with no service, which landed us in the mess the team he broke up managed to get us out of. Pathetic ego driven management,

I saw the game . It is still not an experimental eleven. The starting group have played together for a long , long time. It 's not as if Pep packed the team with unknown and untried youngsters is it ? These players are very experienced and should have done better.

How is it not an experimental team ? Its not football manager. We all saw the team and thought here we go again. A complete random team when we've won so many games straight. Why? Fuck knows, hes a joker.

Haaland doesnt deserve to get thrown ib and nico is our best player. Fuming. We were shite

I'm definitely not one of them. I tried justifying it by thinking he was resting his first choices for wembley yesterday but even that has not placated me this morning. Yes, the team he picked should have beaten one of the worst PL teams in history but his tactics of yet again packing the middle and bringing the fbs into that congested middle, played into the oppo's hands. I dread to think what he thinks we gained from that yesterday and I'm seriously concerned that he will pull another masterstroke next week that costs us the cup. Trouble is, he now has a week to think about it

Pep fucked this one up pure and simple. I love the man and think it’s madness to question him going after one bad season, but he does himself no favors with shit like this.

Foden needs his head read, so sit him down and sort him after the season.

Mcatee hasn’t justified being in ahead of Marmoush or Doku.

Nico and Nunes find form in a settled back 4 with Josko playing his natural position so we change that. Taking off the pacy fullbacks and playing no wingers is beyond stupid.

Overall a terrible game which sums up this season for me.
Tracking back is overrated.

And there's tens of thousands of deluded fans not on here who want it as well.
Sorry I haven't been on yet despite you demanding so time and time again but I was actually at the game so drove back, got home knackered and have just read all the threads ( you do mention me loads, I really live rent free in that vacuum of a head of yours). You must have loved yesterday.
Were we shit, yes, did he play the wrong team, yes. He left Nunes out( something people on here have been crying out for weeks for). Left Nico out ( wrong in my opinion). I wouldn't have started Kev, Bernardo, Phil and especially McAtee but we're still 3 games off CL qualification and winning a major cup which I firmly believe we will. If you don't think we'll do both have the balls to say it now

Like the 3000 others there I had a great day. Shite performance. 2 points dropped. We are in the last throes of this groups service to us. If being a licker of Pep means supporting the blues I’m one defo with concerns I’m spoilt with years of winning. I’d just add it’s City boys a shit season with a cup final. I’ve had it worse.

Can people that didn't go to the game stop commenting. This is a forum for people who went to the game to be able to lie about everyone being happy. "We were in Division 2 once" don't you know?

Anyway, StuPot has surveyed every fan at the game and he says they're all happy and want Pep. End of discussion

Don't need to lie, no chants of " you're not fit to wear the shirt, plenty of " we've got Guardiola ".
You do realise you hear loads of conversations at the match and coming in and out. Heard plenty complaining about the performances, not 1 ever wanting him gone.

I've been to the same games as you where you've come on here and given it "everyone at the match....." You don't speak to 3000 people let alone 50,000. It's YOUR opinion. And it's the elitist "I went and you didn't, I'm a better fan". A lot of foreign fans on here that you're not better than and that are allowed an opinion that's different to you.

Fuck off from the forum if you can't take it, because you're out numbered by people that don't go to the games on here.

Stop it Carl, nobody wants a season like this one next time around.

What we don't know at the moment is what the squad is going to look like.

Given the fact that some players have lost form gives many of us cause for concern . The team picked yesterday was the majority of the team that won most last season and before that. No way is playing Haarland as a striker an experiment , that is what he does

Based on recent form selection of some players can be questioned, but that team was not experimental !

City player of the month is a poisonous chalice khusanov won it February never to be seen again, Nico won it last month to find himself warming the bench now. A lot of backwards decisions atm

I'llfuck off from the forum when i choose to not when you say. You've got some weird fucking narratives yourself whinging like fuck about prices not being for the working man but happy to pay well over 100 quid to watch Springsteen and hating De Bruyne because he argued with David Silva and plays for his country.
You're right about 1 thing though, I'm definitely a better fan than you
