Pep Guardiola has confirmed that David Silva will be staying on to see out the rest of the 2019/20 season with Manchester City.

Yeah, that I saw, but wonder how this works worldwide because usually on 1st of July the contracts end.

It’s on an individual basis, that’s why Burnley couldn’t field 4 of their players as they refused to sign until the games are finished.
