Cracking game so far. Everton look a much improved side this season.

I reckon we need to score 4 to ensure we win this one.

Must say Kolarov is upgrade hes elf in defense , Kun even he score briliant goal must score that clear chance . We could have finish game by now. Negredo and Yaya best on field

Today we can see why Lescott is not a regular starter for us and why Hart neither should be.

come on city! 3points is vital here

negredo showing how a big man should play up top. Constant fight and passion from him, I love it.

Negredo, Milner and Fernandinho have been good

Yaya plays good but once the ball is past him, nobody expects him(cause he never) to run back and cover for it. Especially if its counterattack with pace, if balls goes past Yaya heart just starts racing

Games like Bayern, Negredo & Milner should start

Heart was in my mouth there...Thought he was gonna show a red on Milner. Interesting to see a replay of that..Not a bad 1st half but we look short in MF again....Sometimes we cant always play with this formation. Games are won in MF against teams like Everton.

He's had four decent chances by his standards as well as the difficult one he put away.

He reacted like he did too. Relieved reaction for sure.

He should be going into halftime on a hattrick.

An excellent game so far - both sides getting stuck in and going for it.

Aguero's not been great but his finish just at the end was excellent so hopefully that spurs him on.

Fernandinho seems to be sitting much deeper today which is a good sign.

Lescott had a shocking start but was much better in the second part of the half. With Kompany off now, we're going to rely on him even more as he's now partnered by Nastasic who, as usual, is a fucking liability.

Second half will be tough as Everton won't stop fighting, but we're playing some good football so hopefully can add to our 2 goals.

Is it me or does Aguero seem to be far better at taking more difficult chances then easy ones?
I mean think about the ease with which he took his goals against Newcastle, Rags (1st one) and his goal today, then compare that with his misses from far easier chances.
Baffling.

Instinctive finisher...when he has too much time on the ball he is awful.

Going forward we are looking the dogs danglies and should be a few up by now but it' very worrying when we lose the ball, even in their penalty area. From a long punt or an oppo player running the length of the pitch, we just don't seem prepared for it.

Looking at the stats we're battering them yet they have had 2 shots and 1 ended up in the back of the net. That's not the full story though and if it wasn't for them straying offside or a terrible last pass then the game could be quite different.

Still, we're looking a little better and strangely we seem better at the back since Vince went off. Probably down to us giving a bit more protection to the defence.

One thing for sure is that we will get many more exciting games this season than last. They may not be the right score but the emphasis on attacking football is there for all to see. I'm enjoying the game and let's see if we can go on and pull away from them. I had 3-1 down for this game but hoping we can make it 5.

Come on City!!!

I'm fine with Kuns efficiency. He's a striker. It's what they do. That second fuck up was baffling and embarrassing tho for sure.

Luckily you and I never do anything out of sorts in our workday.

Agree with both of you...He's magical when things seem impossible. 99% of strikers would not of put that in the Everton net.

It is true though. He often fluffs easy chances and then takes really tough ones so easily.

gone are the days of the league's best defense and here are the attack attack attack days, for better or worse.
