Luis Suarez

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

100% bullshit. But if a City player did it today, I'd expect some here to say the exact same.

If we sign him and we win the league, no one will give a toss if he is a class A cunt.

Remember the outrage on this board when we signed Bellamy? The guy gets a standing ovation when he comes back now.

Remember what a cunt Tevez was when he walked out? Not a bad word said against him these days.

Is there a bigger shower of cunts in football than John Terry or Wayne Rooney? Both adored by their own fans.

Are the Sunderland fans still outraged by the appointment of a facist manager?

Are the Glazers still hated this season?

Winning is all that matters to football fans. We have very short selective memories.

Good points but none of the players you have mentioned are anywhere near Suarez on the cuntometer

Nope. We are about winning.

Joey Barton was/is a disgrace. But at the time one of our very few good player who may have had a good sell on at a time when we were skint. No matter what he did some City fans defended him to the hilt, and the majority like me gave him a second/third/forth chance. It was only once he assaulted one of our own that people turned against him. I am willing to bet if the club had swept it under the carpet some would have still supported him.

This is the problem facing the FA. Defoe escaped with only a caution so they have set a precedent there. Any ban for Suarez could be seen as victimisation and the dippers don't need any help in being portrayed as victims do they?

We are about winning, as every football club should be, but not about winning at any cost. Seeing as Sheikh Mansour bought the club to help raise the profile and boost the image of Abu Dhabi, I doubt we will be making a move for Suarez any time soon

Sorry, he quite clearly bit a player, he needs throwing out of football. Who gives a fuck what the dippers say or think? They can go to hell.

He never got rid of Tevez or Balotelli - two walking PR disasters. To raise of the profile of Abu Dhabi and our brand we need to win.

Liverpool will sell Suarez. I believe they always would have anyway but now they do not have to admit they are skint nor can no longer keep hold of their best players. Today is a face saver for them.

Neither Tevez nor Balotelli are in the same league as Suarez when it comes to their behaviour and as for Balotelli, where is he now? The negative publicity that Suarez constantly generates will not help to raise the profile of our brand or Abu Dhabi in a positive manner. If a club like Liverpool, who aren't blessed with world class players, are considering letting him go it tells you all you need to know about the negative effect his behaviour has on a club's reputation

I couldn't care less about the dippers but the FA will have to be seen to be consistent and that may cause them a problem if they want to ban him. Do you think Defoe should have been thrown out of football?

Defoe has done it once albeit still obvoiusly it is out of order and no place for it but suarez has now done it for the second time in less than three years, so has clearly not learnt his lesson or is just a class a idiot. As well as all the other incidents involving him it's not painting a pretty picture of his character and not one i would cheer for.

If we can get him i will be happy about it. He's fucking quality infront of goal and our strikers not being able to finish the chances laid out for them on a plate game after fucking game is the reason the scum are going to win the league tomorrow and i will be surrounded by the gloating cunts for the next few months and i couldn't give a toss what some bellend 4000 miles away thinks about him or any other player we might sign if it brings the league back to us next season.

Not sure about this season, but last season Suarez had one of the worst conversion rates of chances to goals and his finishing wasn't particularly good. He was still important to them because hes able to create so many chances basically by himself though, but I'm not sure if he would have solved our problems.

Liverpool probably won't want to lose Suarez, he is their best player by a country mile and is the only thing stopping Liverpool from losing touch with the european places entirely. Who knows how close to the relegation places they could have even been, their squad is otherwise really quite shit. Their fans will stand by him through absolutely everything no matter what he does, whilst other clubs will start to worry about the impact of signing him. Hence he might end up staying at Liverpool forever since the better teams might hesitate to bring his trouble with him.

Its starting to look like Suarez and Liverpool fans are made for each other.

Not only the FA, but FIFA as well should act. He should be banned for life and never play football again. This makes the entire sport look bad to everyone!

Suarez is a cunt!

Didn't even know about the Defoe one till last night, which is a story in itself. But Defoe should have got a lengthy ban and just because he didn't doesn't mean Suarez shouldn't get one. After all, two wrongs don't make a right. And let's remember, Suarez is a cereal offender!

Can his previous be taken in to account? Given he got 7 games ast time and clearly has zero self-control, Id say a 15 game ban is warranted here.

I thought Id seen it all in my time watching football, but that yesterday was a new one. Mind you, Id like to thank Suarez as he has focused all the press pack on him, rather than giving us the usual caning we get when we lose a match.
