Jones, Young and probably De Gea. Sniffing around Nasri too. Not good.

22 million plus Ade for Modric? Really?

Modric for 22m EURO PLUS Ade is 1,000,000 times better than all of their transfers put together!!!

You got a link to the source?

Best I can do is paste the tweets from "Football_News24:

"#Modric to #MCFC deal to be completed "imminently" according to Gary Cook."

and

"Reported fee of €22m + Adebayor. Absolutely stunning considering his history with #THFC fans #MCFC.".

He then links to a Croatian website, looks like a newspaper, but I couldn't find any mention of it on there.

I don't know how to use twitter that well. Could you copy and paste the link?

Edit: it's vecernji list- no reputation for accuracy, and no sign of a story on there. It does mention that Ballotelli is close to losing his license, though. Got a 380 euro fine for speeding and driving with tinted glass without a permit.

i think nasri would be great for us in direct competition with AJ for right side of our front three. I, do however, think hes angling for more cash and will eventually sign new contract at arse...

I'd lay money he signs for the scum.

Arsenal will not break there wage cap for any player and money is the issue in the Nasri case.

Lens full-back Serge Aurier has revealed he is in talks about a move to England.

Blackburn were linked with the highly-rated right-back, but Manchester City are also believed to be interested in landing the 18-year-old.

Aurier is contracted to Lens until 2015, but following their relegation from Ligue 1 he now looks set to move on.

The player is valued at around €4million and both Rovers and City look ready to pay that for Aurier, who is of Ivory Coast decent.

"It is true, contacts exist," he told La Voix du Nord when asked about a move to England.

"The English league is a place where I would improve in the future

If it doesn't raise the price(which often it does), it makes the actual interested club into a decision knowing they can be outbid at any time. I would put money on the fact "City are also interested" is pre-printed down the bottom of every press release by every club.

Just like before "Arsenal were interested signing" every promising player in French League 1. How many times people referred to some french player and then said "he can't be bad 'cause Wenger is interested". Now people are saying "he must be dogs because City are interested". Even if we aren't really.

I'm pretty sure we will not be signing rightback. Young or experienced.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

He's the one I really really want

Him and Sanchez would do just fine for me.

Maybe another LB and then I reckon we could shut up shop

If I could have my pick I'd have Iniesta, Sanchez and maybe Baines. Actually, I think if we added Iniesta on his own we'd win the league next season. Him and Silva... wow!

Although, Sneijder and Silva would cause havoc.... argh... its all too fucking quiet!!

I would just love a winger with pace, pace and more pace. Would take N'Zogbia or Lennon in a flash.

Aye, different league to the others we've been linked with. I really hope Bobby and the board are going all out to get Sneijder or the highest quality player they can for that position. It's absolutely crucial if we are to step up to the next level.

If only we played with two out and out wingers so we could actually use them.

Aaron Lennon for me is someone who epitomises overhyped English player. He is a speed merchant with extremely little end product and no football brain. He wouldn't suit our team and what Mancini is trying to do with short passing game AT ALL.

I'm taking the fact everything is so quiet that we are getting something big done behind the scenes.

Would love it to be sneijder.

I have only seen Gervinho play in the World Cup for Ivory Coast and I have to say I was very impressed with what I saw - he has a lot of pace (a key attribute for a forward in the Premiership), quick feet and an eye for goal. If we can get him for the quoted fee of £10m, which seems a reasonable amount, I think we should snap him up. He can play up front or on the wing and I feel he would be a versatile addition to the squad
