Can’t argue with the wins on the trot but it’s papering over so many cracks that if this was a house it would collapse.

I agree with mase on certain points - Nunes can make numerous mistakes (and he does ) and he will get to stay in that position game after game whilst others get taken off.

The apologists for anything pep does will say pep is right to do what he is doing as we are winning games and it’s hard to argue on that basis - but on a pure football basis we are playing shit and some players still get to play game after game even though they do not deserve it.

It’s copy and paste game after game .

Pep next season will be exactly the same

You must be in a right bad mood, we keep winning, FACUP Final, 3rd in the league and you've not been able to call him the most clueless manager in world football without looking even more stupid than you usually do so you're desperately trying to find more things to have a go at.

You don't know any other words thicko, we've seen the extent of your vocabulary. This season where he's on for CL and winning the FA Cup which if Arsenal don't win CL will put him 2nd only to Slot this season in England. Try and keep up please

A lot of ifs and buts , Pep ain't won anything this year - yet. Beating Palace in the final will be a tough task, I think they'll be up for it more than us and they are very good upfront with power and pace. I'll wait till the season ends but even if we win the FA Cup and qualify for CL i'd still say we have played shite for the most part and have been an embarassment for the fans to watch. A laughing stock for others to mock, we showed that we have become one dimensional and that our manager has few playing styles he is prepared to use. Many doubt that he knows how to play any other way apart from possession tippy tappy football. Its worked well in the past, very well, but if you haven't got the high energy skillful players, it is easy to stifull and beat. Pep learnt his style from Cruyff who was the true master. The difference is that Cruyff was a true thinker and iniatiator of ALL styles, one of the best footballing masters the world has known. He would have won so much more but was held back by national team in fighting. Pep has obviously been distracted by family issues, who can blame him , but his arrogance has prevented him from digging in and simplifying the football tactics

^^^^

scouse have been playing badly, getting gifted penalties and VAR help.

Btw it was Rinus Michels who taught Cruyff all he needed to know.

The Dutch really were masters of total football in the post war era, coming into their own in the 70's. Loved watching them in the 74 World Cup but they committed suicide in the half time break in the final, handing a victory to West Germany. One of the few sides that my Dad ( himself a good footballer and completely neutral fan) waxed lyrically about. Some great teams in the 60's and 70s at international level. I was always a Brazil fan after England but the Dutch were superb.

In the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam , they have a continuous video of Cruyff playing in a 60s highlighlight reel. Sat watching it on a bigscreen for about 30 mins. Superb

Cruyff was without doubt one of the finest of the 70's.

Everyone enjoyed watching him play.
