I am with you salford. Can’t say I am gutted the red shite lost.
Last week by this time they were talking title chances and they were making funny videos after that travesty.

50 points after 19 games is centurion form. Very impressive by Arsenal. I doubt they will be able to keep it up, but stranger things have happened.

The destination for the PL will be a lot clearer after our match with Arsenal.
We have Spurs(A), Villa(H) and Arsenal (A).
They have Everton (A) and Brentford (H) before us. They also have an extra days rest before our game.
Given their 5 point cushion (+extra match) we have to win our next two games before we play them.
The FA cup tie is a sideshow imo. I don't think it will affect the title race either way.

BTW, they should be 9 points behind us and we should be only 2 behind Arsenal.

Correct.
Today's hype showed how the PL have to keep either one (preferably both) of their cash cows relevant.
From the headlines one would think the Rags were breathing down Arsenals neck, playing brilliant football, led by superman Marcus.
The Rags were gifted 2 points Vs. Arsenal at OT and 3 points Vs. City. So from those to games alone they should have 5 points less and City and Arsenal further ahead (4 and 6 point swing). That is excluding all the other help they have got in other matches.
The Rags are certain of top 4 now and CL football next season and if Arsenal win the PL then job done.
Business is business.

SAMI MOKBEL: This was Arsenal versus Manchester United as we love to remember it: full throttle, relentless, breathless. English football NEEDS this rivalry. It is good to have them back

Sami needs to watch the match again, as there was only one side in it, despite the scoreline. The Arse had a xG of about 2.75, so 3 goals was about right. The scum managed a whopping xG of 0.23, so in reality a 3-0 scoreline would have been about right.

Kane with a good goal to out the trophy dodgers 1-0 up
Has now moved level with Greaves on 266 Spurs goals.
Great achievement and fair play to him

6th tier Darvel beat Aberdeen in the Scottish cup
Probably the biggest ever shock in Scottish football, certainly in living memory and possibly the biggest in UK football as well
Truly staggering

How bad would Spurs be without Kane? His best years wasted by Levy (and Southgate). Levy will probably cash in this Summer. Kane 30 at the start of next season will be on a downward trajectory.
Massive waste of a career given that he wanted to win trophies. Being a Spurs legend cannot compensate for that. When he retires I hope he does not become to bitter.
Having said that, if he had a pair he would have downed tools, switched positions with Levy and been the one giving it up the arse to Levy, when we wanted him.

Once Again REFs with VAR idiots F*ck up. For Sotons equaliser against Newcastle to be ruled handball is an absolute joke. We have to get the game back from these people, not just the REFs but the idiots that change or bend the rules of the game at a whim.
By the way, this REF is Atwell, with the same cohorts as against the rags. Absolute rubbish. As a neutral tonight watching Soton vs the Geordies, i have to say , we are light years ahead. It is no wonder that everyone we play park eleven around the penalty box.
Atwell (and his travelling band) should be relieved from Duty.

I am not. We don't need the extra games and the same applies for the FA cup.
100% focus on the PL and CL. There are to many games this season otherwise. Look at the Rags fixture list for the next two months. We don't need that.

Joke of a 'decision'. The calls are blatant now, Liv Vs. Wolves, Rags Vs. City, tonight..........
No way do you consistently get such straight forward decisions wrong with the technology available. No way.
Atwell and his crew must be Howard Webb's go-to enforcers. Since Webb came back the match defining 'decisions' have reached a new level of corruption.
