Called for a comment I thought half way through the match.
u2us@skysports.com if anyone wants to join in.
Good morning SKY
Is there any chance Tyler can be banned from commentating on City games? Last night it at least appeared that someone has banned him from mentioning his beloved United 30 times every City match.
But he seems to have compensated for this with an almost constant drip of negative comments about City, especially how 'poor' our defence allegedly is. Niall Quinn - never a big City plugger despite his history - finds himself constantly having to counter this insane bias and must get as frustrated as the normal City fan. Tyler sees a match which everyone else seems to see as a good sound thrashing as an exhibition of City's problems.
If you Editors are in any doubt, just compare his screaming jubilation when covering a United goal with his resigned matter-of-factness when City score.
It's high time he was put out to grass or, at the very least, left to only commentate on his beloved team United, as he has lost any ability to be impartial he may or may not have had.
Yours sincerely
John@StAustell

For what it's worth I agree that there is an evident bias throughout the media against us - however - to play devil's advocate on this one, what about the screaming jubilation when Aguero scored THAT goal? He must have permanently damaged his throat that day.
On pointing out our defensive frailties, yes he overstates it and yes the timing can be a little off but I don't see how any of us could disagree with the overall point - that we make too many individual errors, concede too many soft goals and need to improve away from home.
In my eyes there are many worse culprits for bias/venom against City than Mr. Tyler.

the issue is that he regularly gets 90+ minutes to lay into us. the other culprits aren't so lucky

I've called him a rag cunt and that isn't based on one, two, three... even one hundred games he's commentated on both us and the rags. He's always been that way. He adores that club and he hates that money could come along and threaten their dominance.
Why did he never, ever go on about the money that united were spending for all those years?
Why does he never shut up about the money we've spent?
Why does he celebrate every time Rooney touches the ball, let alone every time they score?
Why can we only reference one time when he sounded elated that we scored, that being the most iconic moment in premier league history?
Why does he mention united's past achievements when they are winning and the old "You can never write them off" when they are losing?
Why does he mention our recent losses when we are winning and our money when we are losing?
This could go on and on and I apologise for comparing us to them.
But that's what Martin Tyler would do.

That was a moment that transcended almost all rivalries in football (apart from the Manchester one obviously) - it was sheer drama for any football-loving person, just listen to Merson's reaction in the Sky Sport studio. It was the exception to the rule for Tyler and it bugs the hell out of me that he will be forever associated with our historic moment.

This.
If anyone watches a recording, I wonder if they could just casually make a mark with a pencil, each time he mentions us being hammered by Bayern Munich, then count the pencil marks at the end.

Is this your sole defence against countless examples of bias?

No.
And he's not wrong that we got battered by Bayern Munich but if he was watching the rags turn over CSKA in that fashion, do you honestly believe he would be referring to it over & over again & mentioning how a 'better side' may turn them over instead ?
He would mention it at the beginning, perhaps when their goals were scored & perhaps at the end. The rest of the time, he would have his dick in his hand.
