If they will take Nasri in return, Id be happy with that

Along with the purchase of Isco, that would be very sound business.

I'd rather have Nasri than Modric any day of the week personally. Non scoring non tackling non assisting non entity imo.

Common Ted he have some great games in Spurs and Nasri is often hot and cold and from what they say Isco is not for sale until summer.

Well I've seen Nasri v City for Arsenal, & Nasri for City v Spurs & I know who I would rather play against, & who I would rather have in our team.

Growing some grit, Nasri is gonna be twice the good than Modric and more versatile, having the deeplying role in him, too.
I'd gladly have Isco, if Muniain is not for the grab.

Seconded. We've not seen the best of him yet and that's not entirely is fault. I also think he makes a decent contribution most games.

I m not saying change Nasri for Modrić , i just asking is he something we would love to have in team , when we have situation like this ,but i guess i would take Isco also before Modrić only thing that bother me is the price they put on when City wont to buy player.

DLP? So why has Mancini never employed him as such?

Mancini prefers his deep midfielders to be decent in the air (if not good) and preferably tall.
So this is how it feels to be City,
This is what it means to stand tall,
This is how it feels when our club has no debt at all.

Would not see the point in signing Modric. After Citys business during the summer I dont want to see anymore signings that don't improve the team. Its fair enough if we buy younger player for the future but if its an established player he needs to be better than whats already at the club.

We definitely haven't seen the best of nasri and not sure why anyone thinks he is better proposition than modric. In his time n the prem, I think modric has been far more consistent and influential than nasri.

I think they are both in the same boat. Nasri left the gunners and has not played to his potential for us. Modric left spurs and hasn't shone in Madrid.
When both are on form and in their favoured positions, they are different players. One is a real playmaker that can create chances put of nothing for others and the other one can out-skill his opponents and create chances for himself.

I'd be massively underwhelmed by modric.

He's a player that's gotten completely overpriced by simply being good. He's a neat and tidy footballer that would fit nicely into most squads, but for my money to be a $30-40 m pound player you need to do something others don't.

Be it scoring goals, breaking through the opposition with a killer pass etc. he's not a top attacker and isn't that great a tackler to be a holding mid and isn't strong enough to be the paddy v/yaya style deep playmaker.
