If I were Mancini I wouldn't play him even if he came back. He disrespected the club, the manager and the fans. We have done it so far without him, we will keep doing it without him.

Ted alluded to it before, it's not about football or personalities, it's about legal position and conforming to it.

Isn't a manager allowed to make selctions regarding the squad? He would be allowed to train with the others of course, but then he would not get selected to play; at most he would be on the bench and sent on the pitch in case of emergencies, i.e. the only other fit striker gets injured during the game. Would that fulfill the legal requirements?

He's already fucked up the legal requirements by buggering off to Argentina. Now, he has to come back or he weakens his case even further if he stays away. If he comes back, Bob can have him training, see how the players react to him, see how he performs. If he's unfit, he can have him on a 'special' training routine & keep him at it for months. If he's fit, knuckles down & plays like hell, he can use him to help win us the title. If he throws a strop; more fines on top of his fines, back to training on his own etc.

Bob holds all the cards & he doesn't give a fuck whether we want Tevez or not; he's just interested in winning games & will do whatever he feels is best.

Did the guy screw up? Yes. If he is fit, will he help us? I think so. The guy is always giving 100% on the pitch and I will stand behind him as the moment he scores a goal and runs to the fans and points to them, I think everyone will , or most people, will forgive him. Its a strange thing what performing well and helping a team can do for changing fans attitudes. I just remember when he came to the club, and the impact he had, I loved it ! The passion, the intensity..... its what its all about! Bob is completely in the right to have made the decision that he did. If he and Carlos can kiss and make up, then who knows? Maybe this could be a new beginning of sorts? Just seeing him and Kun up front together I think would be awesome.

IF he can help us win the league then play him. We win the league, his value goes up, we sell him as champions.

I don't find any of that confusing at all.

Footballers are cunts. He's bigger than most. But better than most. Use the fuck out of him and fuck him off IF he betters the team.

I cant stand the little prick and I wont celebrate his goals.. but.. hes a registered Manchester City player and if its going to help us win the league then fair enough.. Id rather win it with him than lose it due to us being stubborn.

If Mancini deems him fit to play. I will keep my mouth shut in the stands and watch the game. If it gets us a point here or there then good.

Will not be singing anything involving tevez, will not be celebrating if he scores. Will not be giving him shit.

What worries me is his attitude, especially around kun.

THERE ARE SOME FICKLE CUNTS THAT SUPPORT MAN CITY FFS !

STOP TRYING TO JUSTIFY YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF HIM PLAYING AGAIN.........HES A 100% PIECE OF SHIT AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WALK THROUGH THE DOORS OF OUR STADIUM AGAIN LET ALONE PLAY FOR US AGAIN.

If we cannot win the bastard premiership with the squad we already have then we are a lost cause and should just give up and go home.

We dont need TEVEZ.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I almost entirely agree with you sir. He is an exceptional talent. He gives everything on the pitch. He is not paid for his thoughts, opinions nor fidelity. That I have no problem with and I agree with Joe Royle on blue Tuesday that we should always use the best we have.
Contrary arguments have lined up along the line of upsetting the dressing room and the general rythymn of the play. I was at Rodney Marsh's first game in March 72 when we were several points clear at the top. I thought he would be the icing on the cake. He turned out to be the ingredient that prevented the cake rising. (apologies for the poor metaphor!)
However I think things are different now. Then the team work ethic was paramount. I don't think such an ethic exists nowadays in spite of all the badge kissing and inane twitters from certain folk.
As I have waited 40 years for a title (I joined just too late for the great days of 68/69!) I am a little more sanguine and, yes I'll admit it, a little more selfish in my desires for my blues. I want them to win the league this year.

I might not be around the next year!

His value won't go up though. He can buy himself out of his contract in summer, so his value is never going to be more than that. Even if we did manage to get another couple of million for him, which we won't, are you happy to play the desperate victim, willing to accept him back?

I think it's called battered wife syndrome. How many more times does he have to take a dump on the club, the city, the fans, the owner, the manager before you'll be willing to not give him another chance?

76 whilst respecting your opinion I cannot agree with your metaphor. The husband in the battered wife syndrome is of no use to the relationship and in fact still loves the partner is spite of the violence. Tevez has obviously no deep affection for the club but will if pushed be willing to work at the relationship.

I meant it makes the fans sound like a battered wife. Would you really believe him if he apologised, or would it just be him avoiding missing out on another £9m?
