Anyone else worried about Pogba actually going to United?

Also, West Ham supposedly bid for Tevez but the wages offered were too low. Love to have that guy back.

The 26-year-old’s representatives have been contacted by City and the ex-Bayern Munich midfielder is not against a move to the Etihad.

The deal to bring the German ace – who is away on Euro 2016 duty – to Manchester would depend on Juventus’ Paul Pogba going to Madrid.

The Spanish giants have not officially revealed whether Kroos is for sale as they don’t want it to affect the price of French international.

A source said: “Pogba wants Madrid – City know this and that’s why decided to step back.

“There is a whisper around that City and Madrid might have some sort of gentleman’s agreement over the deal.

“City have already impacted Manchester United plans this summer by going for Sane and Schalke signing Embolo.”

Kroos is believed to be interested in working with ex-boss Guardilo again – and refused to rule out a move in an interview with the German media.

He said earlier this week: “I will not play in the Bundesliga. People know that football can not rule anything out.”

His wife is expecting a baby within the next few weeks and she could be a big factor in whether he makes the move to the Premier League.

Former Bayer Leverkusen ace Kroos joined Real Madrid for Munich in 2014 for around £20m.

He has made 68 appearances at the Bernabeu and scored three goals.

Not too much just yet. We know meeting for/agreeing to personal terms is normal for agents/players before anything resembling a transfer occurs.

I'm only worried if Real Madrid show that they will back down, which seems unlikely given that they have the assets to sell to cover the cost. The English/International (aka United fan base following) media is stirring things up because United are trying to do what they can to be relevant as they used to be again. It could happen, but even if they may be willing to pay the price, but they are not his first choice.

It reeks of desperation, really. They had the same ambitions with Neymar. Juve is even offering Pogba a salary increase, but seems more probably he will wind up in Madrid, which will end up helping us to get Kroos.

Fingers crossed, but feel relaxed about it right now.

It is all about winning the CL asap.
Money is not a factor.

We will probably buy both.

Law of averages mate. Bound to get it right one day. Besides I'm pretty sure Ota will be good with the right people around. Mangala I have lost hope for.

Rumours that he'll go back to Sociedad on loan.

Or rather that he'll stay with Sociedad on loan from us.

Don't know. It will be interesting.
If Vinny can get and stay fit - he has to play.
I still believe in Mangala, he has all the attributes required.

With those 5 there is cover for injuries and rotation. Most importantly - competition for places.

I don't think Mangala is at all comfortable with the ball at his feet. It's something you can't teach and that's why I don't think Pep will keep him

The club denied they'd made a £38m bid for him, all this talk of a £51m bid seems based off that (false) information to me. I would rather believe the club than some dodgy Italian source.

I think he's fully capable of simple, short passes either sideways or forwards as long as the rest of the team gives him options - and if they are moving in the way Pep expects, there will always be options.

He was so isolated on the ball in recent years because he was one of only three defending against counter attacks

Bonucci might be the best defender we tried to signed since those rumours with Pepe. The fucker is solid as a rock and also dirty, but a nice dirty, the kind of will eat forwards alive. It would be a step up for us.

On another note, I cannot believe the level the rag PR machine has reached at this point. Saw some quotes about Pogba”s family saying he wants United. You cannot make this shit up.
