however, it raises an interesting point. Silva will be 30 at the end of this upcoming season. would anyone be okay with us including him in a deal to get Pogba this summer? for this hypothetical I'm gonna add that we acquire KDB separately as well. Im curious what the tipping point re: Silva is with some people.

Silva is my fav player so i wouldn't want that to happen but i wonder how ruthless Txiki could be.

I think at our best we skew more Apache Helicopter than sports car.

Mourinho doesn't muck about with his mistakes. Filipe Luis and Cuadrado on their bikes.

Van Gaal teasing the Press with talk of mystery signing of striker. He also wants a centre back and goalkeeper if De Gea leaves. Financial Fair Play? Dont make me laugh.

Tbf they are earners so they can spend.

What's not fair is the embargo the cartel tried to create against fair trade and investment in a quality product.

In any other business say software for example someone would have a multibillion dollar suit in their back pocket waiting to cash in. It's unbelievable.

That's my point Doomie. If City's owners were allowed the freedom to invest in their own business I would have no complaint in United spending squillions to buy a team of overseas players. To call the current system fair though when it's one law for a very few Clubs and another for ourselves just isn't right.

Would like us to keep Silva for as long as possible no matter how old he is.
He doesn't like shooting and he's slow, but his passing is better than anyone.
He could become a deep lying playmaker, he's so much better in the middle than on the left.

Maybe we're waiting for silva to drop deeper before we switch to 4-3-3.

You're all having a go at Phipps but I think it's an interesting point, remember, we're not the one making transfers and I could see tixi seeing that it would be a good time to move on silva if we're getting de bryne and pogba, whilst he still has a decent value in the market, we've seen over the years that even with the money we sell to buy and you could easily argue that it won't be easy to field all 3 along with aguero and sterling

I agree completely, nothing should be off the table in pursuit of moving us forwards

Selling Silva would be the shittest of shit ideas ever. He has years left in him at the top, and it ABSOLUTELY has to be OFF the table. Not negotiable and don't bother trying to bring it up.
Yaya looks great too, we are gonna get a great season out of him I suspect.
Sadly The same problems we've had for time seem to exist still too. So iffy at the back and Vince looks super shaky still.

Sounds like we're chasing Isco again. Cant see Real letting him go. Wonder if we've given up on KDB

Flurry of bets on Edin to the scum. I think that's people casting round for the mystery striker talked about by van Gaal this morning. Surely unthinkable. Surely?

Spanish talk that Real are cracking on allowing Ramos to go to the scum because they're desperate to get De Gea. The scum are very much saying unless you let Ramos go to us we won't talk to you about de Gea in this window.

I can see why they would be interested but there is no reason why we should let them strengthen their team.

Star claim the scum are in talks with PSG over Tia Maria. I think this is very credible.
