Reading and seeing an absolute sea of biased media shite coming at us.[/size] Hopefully this galvanises us once more.

Only saw end of maresca doing the media and they tried to get dias some punishment about some bs and he was fuming and rightly so.

Yet to see the prime interviews of both enzos but keen to watch tomorrow if anyone has links!

Goodnight blues

(They've not lost there in 2026)

The thing here is they all expected us to implode when Pep left like when cunt chops left the swamp.

So they've had to change their Bingo card back to 115, completely ignoring rebuild and players finding their feet whilst churning out wins.

Imagine if we're still top come Xmas and 115 still on going, every article will just mention 115, it will be the opening sentence to everything written about us. They're already asking what punishment will be.

I will continuee watching the games, and go for a shit at half time, then switch off.

Tough place to go, they've had a great start and hadn't lost at home all year and we won, should have won by more and they didn't have a shot on target.
Half the team played very well, I'd say. Haaland, Foden, Fernandez, Bouaddi and Guehi who absolutely stood out for me playing next to Dias with his dodgy passing, Gvardiol who was terrible and Donna who was terrible with his feet .
Loved Enzo's interview at the end giving Rooney the eye when asked about the derby.

Absolutely horrific team, this Porto one. Full of shithousery and cunts.

And I despise their stadium.

Totally agree with this, however I would like to add that I was impressed with the commitment of the team & fighting quality against a team of shithouses, bodes well for the future.

Donna is a great shot stopper but that’s as far as it goes IMO and the reason he was let go by PSG was because he is fucking abysmal with his feet.

Traffords all round game was ahead of Donna’s and he just has to fucking improve - I guarantee that most of the city fans shit themselves when some player passes back to him.

This, this and this. The additional worry I had with it last night was his out ball a lot of the time was to Dias. I did not want Teafford to go but that's history. Better teams will pin us back and it is something we need to improve.

He has been like a nano second away from losing the ball in most games - why he waits so long before passing or kicking it is beyond me. A good ball playing goalkeeper already knows where he's going to play the ball long before it arrives at his boot.

New manager loads of new players, change in tactics, most of them had no or little preseason.
Considering those things its been a very good start. Cant ask for much more.
I know some of the performances at times were not brilliant but last night was reassuring and were getting better game by game.
Now just turn up Sunday and take the three points.

I'm glad the boss has told them to stop passing back to Donnarumma so much. That's one Pep insanity out the way

Last night's near miss though was completely down to Anderson being short with the back pass. The ball didn't have enough pace on it and Donnarumma had to just clear it, Shearer blamed the Italian though rather then the Englishman.

He doesn't handle back passes that well in the Coventry game he nearly walked it into his own net, granted the back pass didn't have a lot of room for error but the goalie definitely fluffed his lines again. He steamed the ball into the incoming player it's fair to say he's not exactly comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Yep, agree. Call me old school, but I would rather have a shot stopper rather than Gascoigne in goal.

The back pass to Donna should never have been between the sticks. Never ever do that. Khus needs to have this drilled into him. A team must never trust the goalie to be a footballer

donna is just dormant, he controlled the ball from Khus turned towards his goal and nearly dribbled it in. if a goalkeeper can't do a simple thing like put his foot through the ball he needs getting rid of.

Ohhh yes I am with you on that but goalkeepers are expected to be in-between the sticks so second nature kicks in mate, it's not unreasonable to not expect your goalkeeper to panic every time he has got the ball to feet.

That's what you say to 6 year olds. The best goalkeeper in the world should be able to control a ball no matter where it is

A goalie missed kicking a ball played back and a goal resulted a few years ago,the ball hit a bit of uneven turf as he went to kick it.

100% - arsenal definitely saw the blueprint. Press Donnarumma and make Dias the clear option. Then you can easily get the ball back off him
