Yep. Europa league it is

Don’t say that, there’s always a way. UEFA can still come down hard on PSG because they walked off the pitch (in unison) and dock them a point, or a goal or two.

Don’t rule anything out.

Exactly. With Gill on board at UEFA I really wouldn’t rule anything out. Stranger things have happened

Are you saying that we have to play a team with homer ref’s?

Linear was just about to say ‘Out of the CL’ but then reverted to ‘Lost the game’. They know what is happening in the background and any chance of hope, they’ll grab.

I don't think we should go after Mbappe, after tonight.
Huge talent, but really attention seeker.

He was posting on Twitter while the teams were in the dressing room.

The modern way. Probably learnt from Mendy whilst at Monaco

From what I’ve seen, he needs a huge kick up the arse to get anywhere near his hype.

And then his speed will go.

If the protest was against racism, UEFA won't dare to dock points.

You’d think so, but this is an organisation who brings charges against a club that they just cannot win.

Thanks, but I don't think you can PM images (well I certainly haven't received it).

Lol, that thing really went faaar.

My two cents, I think he said: Ala IN negru (that one in black), while pointing out to Webo who was near their manager, at that point. Negru in romanian is black, not negro.
I don't think he did it intentionally because the fella, aside his issues, doesn't have more than 40 words in his vocabulary.

Sad, instead of sorting this out between themselves in the dressing room and then carry on the game, they let everyone go wild on social media and TV. Including Erdogan. Erdogan speaking about human rights and racism.

It was a protest against racism by UEFA employees/representatives, on the pitch, for the whole world to see. They'll find a way to dock points, so that this doesn't happen again.

I was going to ask you about this, whether there might have been a language mix-up because of the officials speaking in Romanian. So a storm in a teacup, then, because of something someone overheard in a language they didn't understand, basically?

The very fact that It was a protest against racism by UEFA employees/representatives, on the pitch, for the whole world to see is the very reason there's no way they'll dock points.
UEFA would be seen as condoning racism.

Then how come this wasn't clarified before the players left the pitch ? There are so many languages in Europe and quite often words in one language sound like other languages. I was on a tram in Manc a while ago and thought I heard some women speaking dutch - turned out after listening carefully , they were scouse with very thick accents. It is quite possible there was misinterpretation - but don't let that get in the way of handbags at five paces in Social Media.

UEFA is a very "Do as we say, not as we do" organization. If it was a club-on-club accusation, then they wouldn't dock points, I agree. But I don't see them acting that way when it's their own representatives/reputation/money involved. There'll be some kind of "proper channels" excuse, especially as it seems increasingly likely that this all stemmed from a linguistic misunderstanding.
