Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The trouble with MotD is it starts with the editing of the games and the order in which they're shown. Mordor's thumping of Swansea is highlighted as our boys come good. The BBC have even moved offices so they can be next to them FFS, or am I just being neurotic.
There are all these 30something presenters talking about watching George Best - well if they did it was watching him at New York Cosmos.
Jeremy Vine and Zoe Ball et al will all be inspired by having watched Colin Bell in a few years time no doubt.

I think the worst part is not that the majority of us are outraged or expect anything different until the media get over the "new money" thing, its the fact that we can't discuss programmes that are footballing institutions and criticise the performances of the pundits without being told not to watch the programme.
So everytime we come across what we deem bias/provocative within an outlet that we have watched our whole life, we should not discuss it?
Football is a massive story and every tributary of it adds to the fact that it is one of the greatest debates and conversations you're likely to have, both on this board and in person.
So please, fuck off telling us what we should and shouldn't watch and more importantly, what we should and shouldn't discuss.
You fucking newbies.

Quite right Dub. It suits me to watch MoTD on Sunday morning because I am too busy later when Goals on Sunday is on. I like to see all the goals before I start talking about the football later at the pub (being busy!).
But that doesn't disqualify me or anyone else from criticising the presentation or editing.

Criticising is one thing telling us there is an agenda against us is another.

If any cunt that was listening to the commentry on Sky throughout that match, STILL doesn't think that there's an agenda against City you really need your fucking head testing!
It was mentioned with glee on about six occasions throughout the injury time that 'City will be playing football on a Thursday night'. That's fine. We heard you the first, second, third, fourth and fith time!!!! Then spending time talking about the financial loss we've just made? Making a massive deal about it!
I'd have more respect for the twats if they'd just come out and admit they hated us. But the fuckin nonces wouldn't have a job then would they?!

In addition to the 'Thursday night' comments, each time we went a goal down the commentator (Martin Tyler?) kept banging on about how it was a crisis for us as if we aren't capable of getting a goal back. Not to mention the fact that the awful ref who fell hook, line and sinker for the cheating Napoli twats' antics was 'having an excellent game.' Fuck off!

Well this thread took a downturn along the way. It's a bit bad when City fans berate others for having an opinion. Not pointing out how that opinion is flawed, but just telling people to stop airing that opinion because they don't want to read about it. The idea that well paid football pundit Alan Shearer in all his uninformed, ignorant and biased sulkiness shouldn't be criticised on a football forum is breathtaking. This is despite the fact that Googling his name brings up vast quantities of results which criticise him for just these things from journalists to fans of just about every club in the country. I think some people are taking devil's advocacy to extremes.

Not a terrible mistake to make, all things considered. He's probably trying to sound "continental", after mistaking the 'l' for a 'll', which, judging from posts on this forum, is a pretty simple mistake to make. There've been far worse mispronunciations throughout the history of commentating.

I'm not sure the other commentators were doing it on a voluntary basis
