Could not have put it better myself. Hughes had his chance and didnt seize it. He can have no complaints. But his replacement, We are employing a guy who has whored himself about any job going and been knocked back by West Ham, Spurs (twice) and even put his cv in at Blackburn.
He has no trak record outside Italy, Never won a league title at Inter that was not handed to him in the courts or when the usual main rivals were dropped down to Seria B. Down nothing in the CL and was eventually replaces for that reason. Replaced by a manager who IS the type of calibre we should be aiming for.
I guess we have to say the same as all the people who wanted hughes out from day 1 and hope we are proved wrong.
