We miss SWP so much. Get Weiss on asap and give their full backs something to think about. The right wing is nothing for us right now.

he's also carrying an injury.

How many times has he just give the ball away, I'm not one for slagging players but Ade has been poor.

no, they're just idiots for A) Picking him and B) Having a bad replacement in RSC.

maybe its the fact he's not showing himself for the ball, having no first touch, passing to spurs players and refusing to jump for the ball to win a header. Take your pick, he's awful tonight.

Every one of their chances is coming down our left side they obviously know Sylvino is shite and are exposing our weakness and its obviously working. Ireland and Dejong are losing the ball too much and Ades unfit. I'm more destraught about the fact we are without both Lescott and Ade in Jan though...

I'd take Sly off but I have no idea who'd go there. Barry is just as slow. De Jong really needs to cover. Ade off, RSC on. I can't even believe I'm suggesting RSC on. Get Weiss on while we're at it.

Completely embarassing Carl. So absolutely predictable too. We have so much attacking talent at our disposal but no clue what to do with it and that's down to one man. I think I'm more depressed watching us under Hughes than I was when Psycho was manager, taking the money spent into account - such a let down it's not true! Surely we can't play any worse in the 2nd half.

Thank god for the whistle!

My two pence: We started well and played very eye pleasing, but ineffective and quite risky football the first 20 minutes. Tottenham then started getting into the game and as a result created some chances. After their goal, we lost everything. We're running around like headless chickens, afraid of holding the ball, and no patience to find the right pass.

We need to be stronger in central midfield defensively and have more width going forward. I'd opt for a 4-4-2, taking Barry or Ireland off, bringing Weiss on to the right, and letting Tevez and Ade form our attack.
