i'd been saving up for it for 6400 posts. I'm just glad that at least one person recognised its greatness.

It was concise yet informative. A full stop at the end and it would have been perfect.

Edit: Nooly, have vague recollections from a thread many months ago that you use 'period' rather than 'full stop'.

EH ... Some of these are TWO countries, not one

Yeah ..... Not only are they rubbish .... but they obviously cheat as well

Look at US Virgin Islands .... not one, not two, but loads of fooking countries ..... and they still can't qualify!!

Serves them right ..... I say!!!!

This is why brighton AND HOVE should not be in the football league! Cheating bastards! No wonder they were so good, they had two teams playing!

Gotta say in this day and age it's a bit of a limitation only allowing virgins to play though.

On that token, allowing 50 different states to play for the same team is unfair. Particularly Alaska and Hawaii, they should play seperately. I wouldn't mind giving Rhode Island a game. I'd also fancy my chances against Delaware, Idaho, and New Hampshire. That is just me, on my own.

Native.

And yeah, fuck the Yankees. Glad they beat the horrible little Twins though.

And nobody really counts a 3rd or 4th place finish in CONCACAF as a massive achievement. Anyway, we're not in 3rd or 4th place. We top the group with a game to go, and just put 3 past Honduras in San Pedro Sula. So fuck it, I'm happy.

Now that I've said that, watch Costa Rica give us a hiding on Wednesday.

So basically, you would've qualified even if there were the two spots I suggested. So what's the problem.

Let's see what teams you'll bring with you next summer.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Is it me, or is anyone else quite surprised by just how many of the Americans there are on here (as evidenced in this thread)....I knew them all as posters individually but I've never seen such a mass demonstration of their presence

It's slightly unnerving

If you want to pick a fight I think it would help if you didn't say something that was true
There seems to be some jealousy shown by our European fans towards the Americans.
And I bet if England ever qualified for the Confederations Cup and won it they would think its the bee's knee's then.
I think the fact theyv'e never been in a position to qualify for it speaks volumes.
