Shit is a bit harsh, it's their first season as a club, give them a chance.
I think it's a good move, they use the same blueprint as us so at least we know he'll be playing the right way, he'll get experience of senior football too.

He will most certainly learn something from it at very least. Even if its just a chance to play against adults in a controlled environment where he'll definitely get games, alongside Lampard and Villa etc. That IS better than the EDS.
A 'proper' loan can still happen after that.

NYCFC has the same holistic approach and coaching ethics, he will grow as a player, playing competitive football against men with 3 points on the line every time. Its ridiculous to say this move is a bad one for his education.

He would be playing, out of his comfort zone, against full grown men, some of whom are experienced internationals, rather than vs kids, & he will be back before the season has really got started.
My only gripe would be, whether he gets games. He is an inexperienced kid, who has never had to defend against adults, in an environment where people's jobs are on the line. If he plays, it's a brilliant move imo. I hope he goes.
