Milner. Easy. Johnson look decent at times. So did Dejong. But didn't make enough outstanding plays to warrant MOTM status. I thought the ref was pretty easy going on penalties.
I won't comment that much on individual players since I am a Yank and don't want to seem
like a complete ass on my football knowledge.

Milner by a mile, looks so much more comfortable in the middle and his bursts into the box were good to see. Think he offers more going forward than Barry as well.

Milner showed glimpses 1st half, of the kind of player many top football people expect him to become & also that he's potentially a much better footballer than he's showed so far. A year or two from now, when he learns to read the game a bit better, I recon he'll become as important to City's midfield as DeJong is now.

I totally agree.
Milner is a cracking player once he beds in here he will be very important for our long term future.
Also worth adding, he is FAR better when he plays as CM. Milner is not a winger!

Has to be Milner by a landslide and yet there are still those who have difficulty giving him praise. De Jong helped settle things down but by taking the place of SWP it was bound to help as it made it 10 against 11.
The full backs are still a worry as they seem so easy to beat if the wide player takes them on. Kolo and Lescott both pretty good, Vieira ok but very limited. AJ just not enough ,Tevez plenty of effort but misses good options too much.
Can't say anything about Hart.Just one of those disasters that can happen.

Vieira has an excuse, he's out of gas. Still no reason he should be starting though.

Wasnt great was he but equally he didn't do much of note. Thing is with Vieira I don't expect much so I don't get too disappointed.

Why is it when a player leaves a club, he suddenly attracts a kind of aura that makes him
seem desirable again? Sort of like an ex-girlfriend??

I'm just glad we faced Vassell for most of the game & not a striker.

can't understand when Milner was doin so well and our best player that he was moved out on the right for the 2nd half, bit of Mancini madness that. I blame SWP lol

Millner was the best today. Boateng and Kolarov were unprepared for the physical assault an FA Cup match is against teams from the lower series. The slam, the ball bounces every time and some red-haired Scot, half hunt with blood in his mouth.
