What is he? The French Duke.
Yeah, that's him.
He's not absolutely shit, but he's not jesus h fucking christ on a bike.
We're going to get dry bummed by PSG...it'll be 3-1. I hate us.
cheers
No we are not.
We are going to get through to the semis.
Let us re-visit this after the 2nd leg?
I like your optimism but I'm guessing it will be a proper dry bumming, home and away.
Time to revisit:I had posted the following before the Bournemouth match (thread 'Next Bournemouth'):
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Normally, I would expect a dreadful performance against Bournemouth (because it is the PL and who cares) and
a committed performance against PSG (because its the CL and it matters to the players).
Now, bizarre I know, I think we will see a run of committed performances (in both PL and CL) because:
1. they will not want to finish outside the top 4. That is for certain - to many with to much to lose and no margin for error
2. committed performances are a given in the CL
3. the returning players. Brown and Nasri are pure class. Delph fills a need. They all have everything to play for - they could do well with Pep.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I stand by the above.
When we are committed and have our key players available we are a match for anybody.
This includes Barca (if the ref provides a level playing field).
If we add a fit Kompany and Sterling to our mix, we can go all the way in the CL.
Sadly, last night highlights that the players did not care about the PL - all season.
