Here is a positive thought for Tuesday.

I have only seen Zlatan play live once.
WC last 16 in 2006 - Germany via Sweden.
He was rubbish, totally crap. Hauled of early he was so bad.

I have watched him on T.V. since then and I have never been convinced that he is as good as everybody says.
There is something missing, I think he is a flat track bully.
I know he has won approx 13 league titles, has wonderful moments, etc... but whatever PL team gets him next season are welcome to him.
I expect him to be great again'st the 'soft' teams and AWL again'st teams that put the boot in.
So I am not worried about him ahead of Tuesday - we will be up for it and will put the boot in.

He has never won the CL.

I can't remember when the match was, but England were playing Sweden while Lescott was still a City player, and Zlatan put both him and Terry on the floor with just a bent forearm push at various points in the match (while holding them off the ball) - you don't see that even in a physical league like the Prem. He would have been great for us around the time we signed The Beast (or even a season or two earlier).
Maybe past it now though, I've not seen that much of him for a couple of seasons.

you're insane.

He's fucking brilliant as often as nearly any striker in world football over the last decade.

A proven winner. FACT.

Yes - everybody says this when I say I am unconvinced by him. Hard to argue that I am right and everybody else is wrong.

But I know what I saw in 2006 - pure crap - and a lot of poor games since then.
Lets see what he does tonight - I say very little.

I'm in the same camp. Never been mega impressed with him although I thought he played well on the first leg.
