Savic was that shit he even got booked for running onto the pitch as sub before the subbed player left the pitch. Hilarious if he signs for the rags.

He was pretty poor for us (not Darren Wassall poor, granted), but by all accounts he has done pretty well in Italy. I haven't seen him turn out for Fiorentina, mind, so I dunno.

As for Stretford, they've got big problems at centre-half. Ferdinand is old and shot (and a knob - might as well get a dig in!), Vidic has thrown it in and Smalling has worse positioning than Apple Maps. Jones and Evans are both half-decent at CB but I can't remember seeing them play there together. Watching Jones 'play' in midfield is hilarious.

I also think someone close to him committed suicide about the time he came to us. I'm on the phone so can't be arsed to google but I think I read it when we shipped him of to Italy.

Savic was one of those players that the more he tried the worse he became - he needed a change of clubs to get his career back on track. I doubt however he's good enough for us now so perfect for the Rags.

They were both shit & still are, but Savic was, & still is, worse. The difference is that Boateng actually has the ability & won't use it, which is arguably a bigger sin than Savic, who is just shit. And Boateng has pace.

Savic's statistics are fine, impressive even.

I have watched Savic knocking the ball around & thought "he looks nice & steady nowardays, confident" then the opponents have a decent attack & he makes an interception & you think "hmm, even looks quite good defensively" next attack, wins a header "hmmm good" next attack, shins the ball into his own face striker misses open net "hmmm, could just be unlucky" next attack, shits his pants for no reason & kicks ball into back of team mate "Jesus!". Then he continues, knocking the ball around no problem & looking fine & nice & calm.

I hope he plays like Bobby Moore the day the rags watch him.

Andy Hill was ok for what we had at the time.
