England No 1 Hart's place was under threat at City as Platt

David Platt has revealed that Manchester City had planned to replace goalkeeper Joe Hart with Stoke City's Asmir Begovic this summer.
The former City assistant manager reportedly told Al Jazeera: 'If Mancini and I were still at Man City this year Joe Hart wouldn't be there. We made a decision to sign Asmir Begovic.'
Platt followed Roberto Mancini out of the club in May after the Italian was sacked exactly one year after lifting the Premier League title.

Stoke City's Asmir Begovic???

You got to be kidding me, no way he is as good as Hart, Hart has been very unreliable of late i agree but Begovic?
No thanks, it is signings like this that got him the boot.
Mancini signed Pantilimon and how many games has he played under Mancini?
Most of Mancini signings have been nothing but brainless buys imo, This would of been another one.
