Paul Elliott on 5 Live

Did anyone hear Paul Elliott being interviewed on 5 Live yesterday morning by Nicky Campbell about 2012. I was very impressed with him.
He handled some tough questioning very well and Campbell is a pretty sharp cookie when he wants to dig an answer out.

Well Campbell was trying to say how the 2012 bid was all falling apart due to in-fighting, which is probably fundamentally true. However Elliott really defied the role of thick footballer and was very robust in defence of the 23012 bid committee and was positive they were making progress.
