For some reason, I am neither shocked nor suprised by this...if it is found to be true.

The changes to the both the World Cup play-offs and the CL format were only another means to push the bigger countries/clubs further.
Match fixing in another name.

The most shocking thing in this is that neither Italy's Serie A or the French league were involved in the match rigging!!.

It's been commonly acknowledged in Bosnia for years. Any game resulting in an away win has raised eyebrows. If I could be bothered, I'd pull up league tables (including home and away results) for the past few seasons to show you all. Last season, the team in 13th could have risen to third with 3 games remaining, if I remember correctly.

There's also a minor ethnic bias. Republika Srbska teams perform significantly worse against Borac Banja Luka than against Bosniak and Croat teams if Borac have a chance of winning the title.

32 matches in germany is really shocking, among them four in Bundesliga 2. And one guy now arrested had just served his sentence for previous match fixing in germany
