Lawro Predicts....

Postby Fish111 » Fri Oct 30, 2009 1:44 pm

Seeing as he only got 2 results right last week i fear for his predictions nowadays.

SUNDAY

Birmingham v Manchester City

It was a big win for Birmingham last week against Sunderland and there is not too much wrong with them, but scoring is a problem. Christian Benitez is a handful - although he sometimes looks as though needs several chances to score - and it will be interesting to see the composition of their team.

City are still not the finished article, if you get at them there will be chances because they have so many attacking players, but there is serious competition for places so that will up the ante.

Verdict: 0-2

I agree with him. How horrible!

What's he talking about there NQDP ? Any reference to Jones' catchphrase in Dad's Army I wonder.

Did anyone see him on the carling cup highlghts show on the beeb, Wednesday night. when asked about our 'shaky' defence by the host he came out withsomething along the lines of "having a go at City is a bit of a sport at the moment and if you compare the defence to the other top teams, its pretty good" I'm paraphrasing ut it seems the cumguzzler is seeing the blue light.
