Arron Lennon....

Spuds should have been out of sight before he limped off but with all 3 subs having been used should he have battled on for the last 10 mins?

Sounds to me like another Darren Bent style bust up. Let's hope he does another interview today and says that his wife would've stayed on the pitch after such a tiny knock

It's a call for the player to make. If he says he can't go on, then he can't.

Risking further injury because Harry fucking Rednapp has asked you to is not a valid reason to continue.

I agree entirely Slim, he looked to go over quite badly on said ankle, but another Bent-style comment wouldn't half upset team morale over there again

I agree 100% mate nobody including the manager has the right to tell you to risk your career on one match whoever they are.

its a tough call, but I would like a city player to go through the pain barrier to try and help us avoid a defeat, he didnt exactly break his leg and could have occupied a couple of their defenders to give other plays some space. However, he doesnt seem the type of player that would rock the boat purposely, so he must get the benefit of the doubt that it was a bad knock.

If you can stand up and run about a bit then you can still do a job for the team. Occupying space makes it harder for Stoke to attack. Stick him in the centre circle and tell him to occupy a 10 yard by 10 box, anyone he comes into that box he marks and attempts to mark. Or glue him to line on the wing to try and stretch the Stoke defence when Tottenham attack, at least he can hold the ball up whilst others do the running.

I think he broke a finger nail - the poor lamb was in a hurry to get to the manicurist before those nasty photographers could take a snap of it.
