Anyone else going? All being well I'll be there. Does anyone know if the City store will be open tonight too?

No, and no.

But out of interest this is the team:

City: Nielsen, Trippier, Cunningham, Boyata, Mee, Johnson, Mak, Clayton, Ball, Nimely, Poole. Subs: Tutte, T Johansen, Marshall, Ibrahim, Redshaw

Ball, Nimely, Pool & Mak, four in attack! Good workout for Johnno trying to get the ball back when we lose it! Because of his terrier like nature, I've always wondered if Ball could learn to play deeper & still score from midfield like Scholes did, perhaps they're going to try it.

Last week they were going to give Vinnie a run in this game but maybe that's changed after his spell on the field at Wigan.
Pity I can't get to this one it looks a really attacking team.

Bloody washers broken and waiting for a plumber so that's me not going now either. Ps3 broke last week, and the car windscreen the week before. Really had enough at the moment, only place I might head later is Scammonden Bridge

Well I got there in the end and watched a weird game. We could/should have been 2 or 3 up in fairly quick time but David Ball had one of those days. After 2 or 3 minutes he was put clean thu and decided to lift the ball over the keeper. He did that bit but missed! Then after a cracking Mak shot was saved we got a penalty and Ball 's shot was saved. The ref made him take it again and he hit it to the other side and it was saved again.

Down the other end and a corner was headed against somebody and the rebound fell perfectly for some pie man to stab it home. Then from nowhere a hopeful cross was messed up by Neilsen and again it was poked home!

We created more chances and I think had 2 cleared off the line from corners ,Poole had a screamer saved and Mee had a goalbound header blocked. very strange to in 2 down and we could have been at least 2 up. We weren't so good in the second half but still had chances but it wasn't until injury time we scored through Mak.

Johnson played about 60 minutes. Very quiet to start with but he did impose himself a little as he got settled. A few very good turns and drives forward with some good passing. One clever ball back heeled to Ball got him 1 on 1 with the keeper but the angle was very tight and he squared it for Poole's screamer to get blocked.

No way they should have lost to a very average Burnley side but if you miss chances like we did it can so easily happen.
